I got laid off today.

If you've been here since the early days, you know the backstory. For the readers who came in later, the short version goes like this.

I started Reset Intelligence working two jobs and 18-hour days. The day job paid the bills. This work, the briefings, the book, the research, was the second shift. Every night after the kids were down. That's how the writing has felt the last few months. Drifting. Sometimes thin. I was burning the candle from both ends and you started to feel it in the work.
